Don’t Let Your Kids Eat Food from Street Vendors

Vendors at the streets make their food using tap water. Eating those street-side foods will cause diarrhoea in your kids in the same way as it would have caused through drinking water straight from the taps.

Avoid Ice that Has Been Made From Tap Water

Avoiding water from the tap won’t just make you safe. Have you thought about the ice cubes in that milkshake you bought from a random shop for your child? Yes, they may have been made from contaminated water too. Steer clear of any such drinks for your kid if you think they might be unhygienic.

Disinfect Properly

Change in the type of stools, dizziness, change in urine colour are only some of the symptoms that you should look for. Don’t forget to keep your child hydrated. Popsicles are considered one of the most effective ways to keep them hydrated. In older children, you can also use ORS. With proper home cleaning and food habits, diarrhoea can be prevented.
