Top 4 Cartoon Characters Who Are Probably Cannabis Users

While there are plenty of adult movies and series openly displaying marijuana without a second thought, it is rare for a kid’s showto take the green plant into the spotlight. However, despite the absence of cannabisin most series, many cartoon characters are still worth the suspicion. After all, it’s free to conclude based on the present factors, right?

From their attitude, words, to actions, these four cartoon characters display a seemingly ‘proud cannabis enthusiast’ vibe.

Check them out:

  1. Patrick Star(SpongebobSquarepants)

Let’s face it. From his lines, actions, to just the way he is, Patrick Star seems to epitomize the stereotypical marijuana user. After all, who else would live under a rock, right? In fact, in nearly every episode, Patrick displays obvious signs of the “high” state associated withregular cannabis consumption. From obvious problems in his cognitive abilities, consistent hunger, to even vivid hallucinations, Patrick is the ultimate marijuana lord anyone would surely love to smoke some joints with.

  1. Brian (Family Guy)

Family Guy has never been the one to back down – even when it comes to cannabis. In fact, in one of its episodes, Brian was portrayed to be the leading proponent for the legalization of cannabis in Quahog. In episode 420, Brian has been arrested for possession of marijuana. Later, he decided to start a campaign for marijuana legalization and soon became the leading advocate for its passage.

In fact, in 2009, he was even awarded as the “Stoner of the Year” by the High Times magazine, becoming the first animated icon to receive such a recognition.

  1. Shaggy (Scooby-Doo)

It’s high time to tell the obvious: Shaggy Rogers is the typical hipster cannabis lover. From his messy hairstyle, baggy clothes, to constant paranoia, Shaggy portrays the classic marijuana user.

In fact, according to some fan theories, it can even be inferred that Scooby is just a character from Shaggy’s ‘high episodes.’ Not only are they always seen with some munchies, but they are also portrayed to be always at the back of the van, giggling together.

In a movie made in 2001, called “Scooby-Doo: The Movie,” Shaggy was even portrayed to be in love with a girlnamedMary Jane.

Now, aren’t those enough to support the claim?

  1. Dog (Catdog)

All the 90s kids would definitely agree that Dog is a loud and proud cannabis lover. Not only is he aloof most of the time, but he is also portrayed to have a short attention span and obvious cognitive impairments. In fact, he couldn’t even process nor does he care whenever he makes Cat furious in every episode. Now, that’s what you call “high” indeed.

Nothing beats the seemingly “high” world of cartoons when it comes to giving us a solid laugh … and yes, even some epiphanies.

Who else do you think deserves to be on this list?
